How long does it take for submitted Deviations to show up on your main page?

I just submitted one and it isn't there yet, it is showing up under wallpaper in my gallery but not on my recent Deviations list.

I am le-confused.

there has been some problems with the server. Just give it about a day and it will show up, the deviation is there just not listed in your gallery yet, so people clicking on it from the maind page IE the main devart page will still be able to comment about it. and also the people who are watching you will be able to see it

Yeah ... Mark's right. My "Mommy Dove" didn't show up for a while after I submitted it. It was about 5 or 6 hours before it showed up on my page. Damn servers.

It's all the uploading and constant movement of the site that causes it to run like this sometimes. It's hard to keep something this efficient running as well as these people do.

Ah, coolness.

I thought something like that was probably the case, but I am new so I didn't know for sure.

Yeah, it is amazing this is free. Then again, they potentially make a lot of money while stripping you of a lot of rights you would normally have with your art. So I guess it is one of those catch 22 situations eh?
